Chiv04 The Histon loading dock, pre-war with a number of Albion KL127's and some of the many Tilling-Stevens Petrol-electric lorries. These or most of the T-S's were new as buses in the late 1910's - early 1920's and purchased as such by the company and totally rebuilt as seen. An extra trailing axle was fitted; the petrol unit was also removed and replaced by a diesel unit. Some of these vehicles lasted into the post war years. The van nearest to the camera was new to the Brighton fleet.
