1937 Goliath three wheeler...
(This is indeed German made (in Bremen), Goliath F 400, built between 1933 and 1937, had a 2 cylinder 2-stroke engine 398 cc, 12 hp (DIN) and made 50 km per hour (over 30 mph), max. load 750 kg. And it was air-cooled. There was a second version called FW 400 - W stands for water-cooled. So the second picture (air cooled flat twin?) shows the rolling chassis of the F 400, I think. (Brian from Classic Van & Pickup magazine tells me that all photos come from Commercial Motor Road Test 514 of 16 April 1954, and taken in Harrow. The first caption says outside Harrow School, the uphill pictures are George Street in Harrow (1 in 5.5 gradient), they small car I think is a Standard 8 Tourer (Flying 8 if pre-war)
